Genealogy!

I love it! Going back as far as you can, talking to very interesting people and then putting it all together for our children (which probably won't be the slightest bit interested) Anyway, I am interested! So I have been on a mission trying to get this all in some kind of order, and I am making progress. So now what does this have to do with anything, you may be asking. Well, let me share with you what the Lord laid on my heart. After we are saved, we have a new beginning! We have a Heavenly Father that sent His one and only Son to take our place on that cross, to suffer and die for us. What a sacrifice! The greatest one ever made so we can be made right in Gods' sight. Now, that is just the beginning, not only can we trace the past, He shows us the future. Its all there in the greatest book ever written, so if you are not into genealogy, search out this Book and find the plan that God has for you! You might be surprised.

Encourage Someone Today!

Will you take the time to encourage someone today? There are so many friends and family members that would love to hear from you. How many times do we get so caught up in our own lives that we forget about others? We don't intend for this to happen, it just does, and then the time has gotten away from us. Time can be our enemy if we let it slip away without telling someone we love them and we are praying for them. When my dad was 82, he said he would look in the mirror and ask himself, "Who is that old man?" He just couldn't believe the time had gone by so quickly. I believe we should make everyday count, there is always someone we can call or email and speak words of encouragement to. I remember an incident where the Holy Spirit was dealing with me about something that I should tell my ex-father-in-law (he was always so kind to me and I loved him dearly) we were at an event and he was there but left before I could speak to him, not long after that, I heard he had passed away, and it just broke my heart, I wanted to thank him, but you see, it didn't happen. We must be listening to the leading of the Holy Spirit and be obedient. Who knows the life you will impact, Please remember it's not to late!
