Ephesians 4:30 (The Message)
30.Don't grieve God. Don't break his heart. His Holy Spirit, moving and breathing in you, is the most intimate part of your life, making you fit for himself. Don't take such a gift for granted.
Have you ever been in a hospital where everything looks the same and had trouble getting around in it? We was in St. Johns in Springfield, Missouri visiting with a very precious lady that was having some problems. My granddaughter Jess and I make several trips back and forth and before long I didn't know if I was coming or going! Finally I make the statement that I needed a GPS on my purse! Then as I was praying, the Lord showed me how the Holy Spirit was our GPS. He is the one who leads us and guides us, He keeps us on the right path so we won't get lost! Because He knows where we are going, He will tell us just like our GPS, things like "detour ahead" and how far it will be until we get there. "Restaurants and places to eat" where we can stop and refresh our souls. "Motels" where we can rest our bodies. This is what He does for us! I am so thankful the Holy Spirit lives in me and you, that He does know what is best for us. If we listen to His voice, we will hear Him guiding us every mile we travel on this road of life. How is your GPS working? Do you hear His voice? I pray as we begin another week, we will really listen to the One who knows where we are, where we are going, and which route we need to be on. His voice is there leading us on and keeping us from making those wrong turns. Have a very blessed and joyful week!
