Psalm 27:13-14 (New International Version)
13 I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
14 Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.
I don't know what this week will bring to each of us, but I do know if we trust in the Lord, He will be there for us. We are instructed to cast our cares on Him, and to come boldly with our requests. I pray for you as you read this that God would be real to your heart, and that you will seek Him early. There must be a real truth to this "early" part. Shouldn't this be the way we start our day, just seeking and praising the Lord? Smith Wigglesworth said each morning for 10 minutes, he danced before the Lord with praise and thanksgiving. Now I am not sure I can immediately get up and start dancing, but I do start with prayer, and then with a cup of coffee and Bible study. We must be prepared to stand firm in these times we live in. Lets begin this week with a greater awareness of who God really is and make Him a part of every breath we take, after all He is the one who gave life to us!
