Book Review: New NKJV Greatest Stories of the Bible

Thomas Nelson Publishers has compiled a wonderful collection of stories from the Old and New Testament. The first thing I noticed about this book is the worn look it has, it is a beautiful book for giving as a gift. I teach Sunday School and have grandchildren that will be blessed because I intend to use it as teaching material. I also love the way it is laid out, with the stories being easy to find from the Old to the New Testament. I also like being able to find the characters in the back of the book. It makes for quick reference. Overall I am very impressed with this book and I would recommend this book as a study guide, although it certainly is Scripture, it does not take the place of the Bible.  Each story is short enough and easily understood to be used even for the smallest of children. I am also using it as a devotional with my grandchildren, and they are understanding it very well. Overall, I have found this book worthy to be given a very good recommendation. This book was provided free of charge by the publisher for review. Thank you, Thomas Nelson, you may go to http://www.thomasnelson.com for more information on this book.
