Psalm 18:25 (The Message)
25-27. The good people taste your goodness,
The whole people taste your health,
The true people taste your truth,
The bad ones can't figure you out.
You take the side of the down-and-out,
But the stuck-up you take down a peg.
I have to smile at the last part of the verse, "but the stuck-up you take down a peg". I know some don't like this translation of the Message, but I use it as a commentary and there are times when it is just out there. Plain is jut plainer! So back to the goodness of God, these "people" are you and me, the ones who have been bought with the highest price, the greatest sacrifice ever made. The ones who have believed and accepted Him as our Savior. We know the truth because we study His Word! This is how we are delivered from bondage and truly walk in freedom. You are this "good people"! Walk in victory and health! Be encouraged and really know the "stuck-up" will be dealt with. He is for you and me! Be Blessed!
