Job 17:11 (New International Version)
11. My days have passed, my plans are shattered,
and so are the desires of my heart.
Just one of the many expressions from Job. Utterly cast down and full of despair with no hope for tomorrow. It did look like at the time, it was over with for him. But, he couldn't see or know what all was going on. He didn't know that very soon, he would be restored! Blessing upon blessing for him and his family. Even his friends would have to repent to him for their negative behavior. Poor Job, it did look hopeless to him, and there are times it seems hopeless for us to. We to experience heartaches to heartbreaks, and we get weak and ask God, "where are you in all this", what is going on? I believe Job and David just to name a few, poured out their heart to God, "poured out" being the key here. Only when we are empty or half empty, can God pour into us. We must remember "this to shall pass". We must not give up our hope and trust in God, He will never give up on us. He loves us and cares for us more than we can imagine. I pray for you this special Lords Day, that you would look to Him, don't be discouraged, and above all. Don't give up!
