Philippians 3:12,14 (The Message)
12-14. I'm not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back.
Do you have your eyes and heart set on the goal? You know, no matter what is going on around you, no matter what it looks like. Going onward to Jesus Christ and all the things that are prepared for us? It should be our hearts desire to not let anything or anyone stand in our way. We are living in a time when we will have to stand up for our faith, and for what we believe. But if we have made our minds up to follow Him, and we are obedient to His will, we are on our way. Our steps will be ordered and we will accomplish what we have set out to do. I just want to encourage you, it is worth it, in spite of all the problems, failures, and heartaches, just keep on keeping on!
