Psalm 111:1 (The Message)

Hallelujah! I give thanks to God with everything I've got—
Wherever good people gather, and in the congregation.
God's works are so great, worth
A lifetime of study—endless enjoyment!
Splendor and beauty mark his craft;
His generosity never gives out.
His miracles are his memorial—
This God of Grace, this God of Love.
He gave food to those who fear him,
He remembered to keep his ancient promise.
He proved to his people that he could do what he said:
Hand them the nations on a platter—a gift!
He manufactures truth and justice;
All his products are guaranteed to last—
Never out-of-date, never obsolete, rust-proof.
All that he makes and does is honest and true:
He paid the ransom for his people,
He ordered his Covenant kept forever.
He's so personal and holy, worthy of our respect.
The good life begins in the fear of God—
Do that and you'll know the blessing of God.
His Hallelujah lasts forever!

Well, today was the last of our Bible Study with Kay Arthur's "The Covenant". Eight weeks gave us a better understanding of what God has done for us. I have heard sermons and knew about it, but had never had the opportunity to do an in depth study such as this! After we concluded, we went to a small restaurant for lunch and more fellowship. Because this is not my home church, it has been such a blessing to get to know these ladies. They are wonderful and they love the Lord, and it didn't take long to realize they were there to learn more about God. There is never a time when we get to the point that we know everything about our Lord. It is a well that we can draw from no matter how long we live on this earth. I will miss them and studying together, but we will start back up in October with Priscilla Shirer. I hope you have opportunities to study Gods Word with other women. As in this case we were not of the same denomination, but it didn't matter. We are all trying to get to the same heaven aren't we? The only thing that matters is the fact we have experienced salvation by the One and Only Jesus Christ. We will all be there together, why can't we be together here? I know we all have some differences, but shouldn't be enough to get "our needle stuck". We can study and worship together! We can and should pray for each other! And we certainly should love each other! This should be our hearts cry to love and not judge each other. Except for the Grace of God, where would any of us be? Have a wonderful and blessed day!
