Busy but Blessed!

Romans 15:4 (The Message)

3-6..That's exactly what Jesus did. He didn't make it easy for himself by avoiding people's troubles, but waded right in and helped out. "I took on the troubles of the troubled," is the way Scripture puts it. Even if it was written in Scripture long ago, you can be sure it's written for us. God wants the combination of his steady, constant calling and warm, personal counsel in Scripture to come to characterize us, keeping us alert for whatever he will do next. May our dependably steady and warmly personal God develop maturity in you so that you get along with each other as well as Jesus gets along with us all. Then we'll be a choir—not our voices only, but our very lives singing in harmony in a stunning anthem to the God and Father of our Master Jesus

How do you take time to keep a blog updated when you have two granddaughters that like to be entertained? I am sooo behind on everything, but I am enjoying them so much. I am so thankful God gives us a second chance with grandchildren, aren't you? Now I have the time to spend with them and teach them, not only about the ways of God, but hobbies like painting and floral arranging. And, they just love it! I am not sure that I have shared this with you, but I have identical twins and the girls that are here now are their daughters. No one had ever told them how close related they are, more than their other cousins! So this is really "cool", to them! But all this to say, I am a busy woman! I love to write and this blog helps me to convey my feeling and thoughts in this crazy world we live in. We all need encouragement through God's Word, daily reminders that we are loved and cared for. I love the scripture from the "Message" that states that God is dependently steady and warmly personal! He did take on the "troubles of the troubled." Developing relationships with granddaughters or anyone for that matter is what God would have us to do, but our relationship with Him is the most important one we will ever have. I hope you enjoy your time with family and friends and most of all in your quiet time with the Lord. This is where our strength comes from and where are hope lies. Blessing to you sweet friends! Have a Wonderful Day!
