Be Encouraged!

Romans 5:3-5 (The Message)

There's more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we're hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we're never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can't round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!

Do you  know anyone who is hemmed in and overcome with troubles? Maybe the best way to ask this is do you know anyone who is not? Nearly everyone we know has some kind of major issues they are facing. Health problems and financial seem to be at the top of the list. We visited some folks this week that in the small neighborhood they live in, there are six houses for sale. The majority of them in foreclosure. How so very sad to see people lose their homes. As for health, major life threatening disease touches so many we know. Now is the time to be persistent in our prayer life! Thank God for people that will pray for others. As some of you know my sister has really been going through it. Two months ago she broke her hip and then last week she broke the same hip in two more places! What an ordeal she is enduring! (thank you for your prayers) OK, so we have established the fact that we need God! There is no one or nothing that can help us except Him! There is no other way except God's way. I want to encourage you with the Word of God that tells us that no matter what happens, we are not alone. He will not fail us. God truly loves us! As we celebrate the birth of our Savior next Saturday, let's remember the real reason why we celebrate this event. Please be encouraged, and keep this in your heart! No matter what has happened or what will happen, God Loves You!!!!!  He is there generously pouring into our lives by His precious Holy Spirit!
Blessings and a very Merry Christmas to you and your Family!
