The Focus of His Love!

Ephesians 1:3-6 ( The Message translation)

3-6..How blessed is God! And what a blessing he is! He's the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessing in him. Long before he laid down earth's foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son.

Do you see the excitement that God had when He was planning our very existence? Can you feel the love pouring out from this scripture? Listen, if no one has told you lately that you are special to God and that He loves you unconditionally, then you need to read these verses again! It is true! God's Word is true and you can depend on Him. Blessings up blessings with words that I cannot describe is what love God has for His children. That is you and me. It is very important that we grasp what God is trying to show us. We will all face, if we aren't already, situations that will break our heart and threaten to destroy us. It  is vital that we know and understand not only what God has done for us, but who we are in Him, and what we are entitled to. Just this morning we heard of a baby that is now in Heaven. What utter despair this family must be going through, our hearts just cry out to God for a special comfort and peace for them. And, we can be assured that He sees those tears and He will give them what they need. You see, God created us, He made us, He knows our needs and He supplies all of them. No matter what we go through, just stop and remember who He is and then remember those blessings that are yours and mine. He will take care of us just like He promised! He will see us through those valleys when life doesn't seem like it is worth living.
Please be encouraged today! We serve a living God who loves us to the point of watching His own Son die. Just for us! Also please pray for this family, they will need the love of God shown to them.
Thank you for stopping by! I love your comments and am anxious to come visit you.
Be Blessed!
