1 Peter 2:24 (The Message)

21-25 This is the kind of life you've been invited into, the kind of life Christ lived. He suffered everything that came his way so you would know that it could be done, and also know how to do it, step-by-step. He never did one thing wrong, Not once said anything amiss. They called him every name in the book and he said nothing back. He suffered in silence, content to let God set things right. He used his servant body to carry our sins to the Cross so we could be rid of sin, free to live the right way. His wounds became your healing. You were lost sheep with no idea who you were or where you were going. Now you're named and kept for good by the Shepherd of your souls.

What a marvelous passage of Scripture! Jesus did endure all for us! We do know (if we read Gods Word) what was done so that we could have life and have it more abundantly. Our sins were carried to the cross so we could be free, and our healing was also paid for, this was not an after thought. The stripes He took on His back was for our healing. We have to believe this is for us before we can be healed. How can you claim something if you don't believe it is yours? My prayer for you today is if you are battling sickness or disease that you would go to Gods Word and read for yourself, believe what was done for you, and then speak healing and wholeness to your body, claiming what is rightfully yours. Remember what a price was paid for our salvation and healing, then give praise and thanksgiving to the only One who made the greatest sacrifice ever made. God Bless you!
