Be Thankful and Blessed!

Colossians 3:16 (The Message)

15-17. Let the peace of Christ keep you in tune with each other, in step with each other. None of this going off and doing your own thing. And cultivate thankfulness. Let the Word of Christ—the Message—have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room in your lives. Instruct and direct one another using good common sense. And sing, sing your hearts out to God! Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way.

This Message translation has a way of getting to the point of understanding, doesn't it? I read a lot of different versions, and every once in awhile, I like this one. In this verses we are told to not get off out in the world by ourselves, where we can get into trouble. The enemy of our souls is ever ready to set traps for us with every lie and deception that he can use. We must stay in the Word of God! This is where our strength comes from, our very lives depend on it. Always being thankful for all the good things that come from our Father. I would like to encourage you today to look to Jesus! He will never fail you, and He never will leave you. Blessing to you!
