Snow Storm and a Big Job!

Zephaniah 3:17 (New International Version)

17 The LORD your God is with you,
he is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
he will quiet you with his love,
he will rejoice over you with singing."

Because of the snow storm that moved in and left us with 7 inches of snow, we were housebound on this Lords Day. Actually since Thursday hubby and I have been home with lots of projects. When we bought our house a few years ago, the little woman before us loved wallpaper and it was everywhere. So we have been on a mission ever since to remove it. Oh my what a job! but we are getting there. At first it was proving to be a really big job and both of us were getting a little frustrated, but the Lord was teaching both of us patience. The thought came to me that we are supposed to take care of what God gives us. This changed the focus and we began just to "get it done". With some praise and worship music and three days later, we are well on our way of having things back in order. Whatever we do must be done unto the Lord, and it must be done in love. This is a choice we make, make it either better or harder! To know my God loves me and takes delight in me with rejoicing, well there is nothing more wonderful. As you tackle this week ahead, I pray for strength and encouragement to do His will. Be blessed my friends!

I'm tackling the week in His strength! Thanks for the encouragement.

Delighted to meet you. I just had to stop by as your blog title caught my attention. I hope you don't mind if I splash around a bit and get to know you.

Joyfully,
Sarah Dawn
