In Christ!

Ephesians 1:11-14 (The Message)

11-12. It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.
13-14. It's in Christ that you, once you heard the truth and believed it (this Message of your salvation), found yourselves home free—signed, sealed, and delivered by the Holy Spirit. This signet from God is the first installment on what's coming, a reminder that we'll get everything God has planned for us, a praising and glorious life.

If you have wondered who you are and why you are here taking up space, then here is your answer! Can you imagine that a long time before we knew about Him, He already had plans for us! Plans that once we believe and accepted His Son, we would be saved. But this was only the beginning! There is so much more! I am afraid we live way beneath our inheritance. Then we wonder why we don't live a victorious life! He sent His Word and the Holy Spirit to be our teacher. We really don't have any excuses, do we? I pray that we would claim what is rightly ours, after all the highest price ever paid was for us. Have a Blessed Lords day. (Be sure and check out Spiritual Sunday, the ladies always have praise reports and blessing to share).

The Rescue!

2 Corinthians 1:3-5 (The Message)

3-5. All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. We have plenty of hard times that come from following the Messiah, but no more so than the good times of his healing comfort—we get a full measure of that, too.

I know about these hard times don't you? Especially in the past year and even now, we know of so many people that are hurting in one way or another. When we follow Christ, we know there will be trying times in our life. However, we were never meant to be on this journey alone! Friends and family will be there for us just as we should be there for them. Words of encouragement and hope give us this comfort that things will get better. And, oh my when we experience this healing comfort that comes from our Heavenly Father, there are not words to describe. Peace from our Father God Himself! So when you see someone having a "hard time", be there for them. Because as surely as you are reading this, they will be coming our way to. Pray to be aware of the needs around you, read the scripture again and be ready!
Have a blessed Saturday!
