1Peter5:8-11 (The Message)
8-11.Keep a cool head. Stay alert. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping. Keep your guard up. You're not the only ones plunged into these hard times. It's the same with Christians all over the world. So keep a firm grip on the faith. The suffering won't last forever. It won't be long before this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ—eternal and glorious plans they are!—will have you put together and on your feet for good. He gets the last word; yes, he does.
Keeping a cool head and staying alert! Sounds really good but it has been really hard for me this week to do this. Seems like everyone I have talked to has been attacked from every angle. The enemy is truly at work trying to kill, steal and destroy us for sure. My sweet friend it is time for us to step up to another level of intercessory prayer. We must pray and hold each other up! There are times when I am so thankful someone is praying for me, because I can't. I just don't have the strength. Do you experience this also? As we remember this day and keep it Holy as our Lord instructs us to, let's remember to stand firm! God does have plans for us and He will never leave us. I am praying for you, please pray for me to!
