Psalm 126:2,3 (New International Version)
2 Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, "The LORD has done great things for them."
3 The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.
How long has it been since you have felt joy in your heart? Not happiness (happenings), but real joy? Joy that fills your heart until you are overwhelmed because of what Jesus did for you! Giving honor and praise with thankfulness should be an everyday event for us. How can we ever thank Him for what He has done for us? No matter what our economy or anything else that is going on in this world, we must never lose sight of what our Lord has done for us. Of course we are affected by what goes on, but not to the point that we lose our faith and confidence in God! We can and should have "joy", when we stay focused on the only One who will bring us through these times of trouble. Please concentrate on the good things, set your mind on the things of God. Be assured your Heavenly Father know what you have need of, He loves you and if you will look to Him, you will experience this incredible "Joy". Have a Blessed and Peaceful Sunday!
Rhema Campmeeting!
Well the week is over with and I can say with all of my heart, I have never experienced such a move of God! I am so thankful and blessed to have been a part of Campmeeting 2009! It is truly amazing to see people so excited about living for God. Excited because they have their eyes on their Heavenly Father, not on the things of this world. There is no security, there is no hope and there are no answers apart from God. The enemy of our soul would like to cause us to fear and lose hope. Of course his job is to kill, steal and destroy. BUT, we have news for him. He is defeated, we are victorious! We need to realize who we are in Christ, then and only then will be able to think and behave as we should. We don't have to fear, we don't have to worry, we just look to Him who is the author and finisher of our faith. I am so excited, it is hard to relate to you all that I would like to share at this time. I just want to encourage you to not give up! Read the Word and find out what you need to do, then claim those promises. Pray and ask for direction, you will not be disappointed. God loves you so much He sent His only Son to take our place on that cross. A sacrifice that set us free from death and eternal destruction. He has done all that needed to be done, now it is up to you and me to believe and receive what He has for us. Remember In Him, all things are possible!
Rhema Update!
Just an update to let you know the meetings are powerful! It is amazing when people get together and seek God with all their hearts. Lives will be changed forever! We have to have an awakening in the church! More than a revival, a real awakening. People need to wake up and realize who they are in Christ! Then and only then will we be able to claim the promises! Step out in faith, it is time!
A Trip to Rhema!
What an exciting week coming up! I will be going to Broken Arrow Oklahoma to a campmeeting at Rhema.(this is the Kenneth Hagin Ministries) There will be three services a day with different speakers and of course there will be music to. I am very thankful to be able to go and I know it will be a blessing to everyone. Please pray we will have a safe trip and we will receive what the Lord has for us! I hope this coming week brings you joy and peace and that as you study Gods Word, you will become more and more like Him!
Standing Firm!
2 Thessalonians 2:15-17 (The Message)
15-17 So, friends, take a firm stand, feet on the ground and head high. Keep a tight grip on what you were taught, whether in personal conversation or by our letter. May Jesus himself and God our Father, who reached out in love and surprised you with gifts of unending help and confidence, put a fresh heart in you, invigorate your work, enliven your speech.
What would you have to do to stand firm for the Lord? Would it mean professing your faith maybe at work or with friends that didn't believe like you did? Could it be someone even in your family? Persecution is all around us and we will have to stand up for what we believe! Laws are being passed that will make it difficult to preach the truth, people will be persecuted. But now this really shouldn't be a surprise to us, we are told in the Word this would happen. I for one really didn't think I would see it in my lifetime. I love the way "the Message" states that God will give us unending help and confidence, give us a fresh heart, and we will have renewed strength and He will put the words in our mouth to tell everyone about Jesus. We must believe this will happen! We must have confidence and not be afraid in these difficult times. Remember what the Word says and stand firm. We do have victory and I know who wins, I read the last part of the Book. God Bless You, Dear Friend!

Blaming Someone Else!
Genesis 3:12,13 (New International Version)
12 The man said, "The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it."
13 Then the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?" The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate.
Oh my, right from the beginning! It was "her" fault, it was the serpents fault! I wouldn't have done it, if it hadn't been for ________. Does this sound familiar? It sure does to me, adults blaming each other for actions taken they chose. When do we take responsibility for our actions? What happens if we don't "own up to it"? This age old problem exists today and will always exist. Even as children we are told to tell the truth no matter what, and of course there is punishment if we don't. I remember the one and only spanking I received from my dad. I was about 7 and my sister was 5 and we were arguing about something, so I just tore her little purse. So she runs and tells (the little tattletail), Dad asks if it was true, and I politely said, "no, I didn't do it", then when I saw that wasn't going to work, I told him it was her fault. Now I don't need to tell you what happened next! Anyway you kind of expect this from children, but adults? I am thinking something is wrong with this picture. How do we mature in our Christian walk if we are not accountable for what we do? So much is involved when we try to blame our circumstances on someone else. Lets examine our heart and the scripture, and find out what God has to say about this. I believe the bottom line is, we are responsible for our own actions, not someone else!

Have Trust in Him!
Psalm 9:9,10 (New International Version)
9 The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.
10 Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.
Each of us could tell of times of trouble that we have experienced in our life! Times of death, sickness, divorce, the list goes on and on. Are you one who God has ministered to you and brought you through this time of crisis? Are you able to help others that might be experiencing the same heartaches? I had a well meaning pastor tell me one time, after my divorce, that he knew what I was going through, and I remember the reaction I had, I even mentioned to him that unless he had gone through it, he didn't have a clue. Only if we have gone through a situation, can we say to someone "I know how you feel". There are so many hurting people and we don't have to look far to find them. Many are in our own family. My question for you and me to is, Do we reach out and try to comfort or be encouraging to someone? Shouldn't we feel the need to help, isn't this what would Jesus did? I pray that we would all be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit and let Him show us how we can be there for our brothers and sisters. Lifting them up, praying for them in times when they are ready to give up. Giving them hope because of Jesus and letting them know they can depend on Him. God bless you as you reach out to others!
