Be brave and courageous, Yes wait patiently
for the Lord."
What are you waiting on? Is there a hearts cry for a miracle or move of God, and nothing is happening? I hasten to say your answer is "yes, of course". First of all, you did go to the right place.(the throne room of Heaven). Sometimes we get a little confused as to how to approach our Lord. We don't go asking with doubt, "well, Lord, I hope this is in your plans". We will never receive anything, if we are wavering in our faith. We must "believe"! Only when you know the Word, will you know what you can receive. Why does this scripture state "Be brave and courageous"? and why should we wait? God knows what we need, doesn't He? If your child comes to you, ready to go to a birthday party, and it isn't time to go, how do you explain that everything has not been prepared, the cake isn't there, the children aren't there, and if you went now, there would not be a party! He would have to trust you that at the appointed time everything would be ready, and then it would be time to go. I know this is a very simply illustration, but I think we make things more difficult at times. No, it is not easy to be patient and wait. Yes we have to be brave and courageous. We do need to wait on God, He is our Heavenly Father, and He knows the best for us. We have to trust Him and believe when its time, it will be the correct time. Whatever you are praying for, keep on praying! and thank Him that the answer is on the way.
