Covenant Promises!
Psalm 111:1 (The Message)
1-10. Hallelujah! I give thanks to God with everything I've got—
Wherever good people gather, and in the congregation.
God's works are so great, worth
A lifetime of study—endless enjoyment!
Splendor and beauty mark his craft;
His generosity never gives out.
His miracles are his memorial—
This God of Grace, this God of Love.
He gave food to those who fear him,
He remembered to keep his ancient promise.
He proved to his people that he could do what he said:
Hand them the nations on a platter—a gift!
He manufactures truth and justice;
All his products are guaranteed to last—
Never out-of-date, never obsolete, rust-proof.
All that he makes and does is honest and true:
He paid the ransom for his people,
He ordered his Covenant kept forever.
He's so personal and holy, worthy of our respect.
The good life begins in the fear of God—
Do that and you'll know the blessing of God.
His Hallelujah lasts forever!
The good life really does begin when you accept Jesus as your Savior! This is the beginning of the "forever" you certainly want to be in on . Because we will spend eternity somewhere! As our world spends out of control we must hold on to the promises of God and remember the Covenant He made with us. He really did obligate Himself to people He created. That sounds rather strange and maybe even blasphemous, but it is true! Why would this God who created everything make a Covenant with you and me? To grasp this concept means studying His Word! I have been writing in my blogs for sometime now the importance of seeking God, and I can't over emphasize this enough. We do not need to be weak and helpless in the Kingdom! Jesus completed everything that needed to be done for us, now it is up to us! I want to encourage you in the love and peace of God that you look to Him! Let Him know the deepest part of your heart, ask Him to reveal Himself to you, He will and you will have hope and a purpose. Blessing to you as you seek Jesus Christ!
