Jeremiah 33:2,3 (New Living Translation)
2. “This is what the Lord says—the Lord who made the earth, who formed and established it, whose name is the Lord: 3. Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.
God was assuring Jeremiah that all he had to do was ask Him, and He would answer him. In order to have a relationship with God or anyone, we have to spend time with them, talking and sharing what is in our heart. God knows what we have need of, He just wants us to come to Him and spend time, telling Him what we need. Coming before Him with a humble and thankful heart and praise on our lips. It is overwhelming to think that God not only created the earth and everything in it , He also created us! He made us, knew about us before the foundation of the world. It is hard to imagine how much God loves us! In this chapter He is showing promises of peace and prosperity, when you have the chance to read it, you will be blessed. Gods promises are real, you can be assured they are for you, yes there are conditional, you have to be willing to lay aside everything in this world and put Him first, He doesn’t require us to do anything but just love Him, and follow Him. All He wants is to have a relationship with us! No matter what goes on around us, when we stay focused on Him, we will have peace in our heart! Prayer really is the key that unlocks the heart of God!
