Seeking God!

Psalm 13 (New International Version)
1 How long, O LORD ? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?

2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
and every day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?

3 Look on me and answer, O LORD my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death;

4 my enemy will say, "I have overcome him,"
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.

5 But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.

6 I will sing to the LORD,
for he has been good to me.

Sounds as though this could be written today. Our hearts cries are the same as David's. Problems and troubles so completely out our of our hands will bring us to our Savior, then we began to pray about all those things that weighs us down; next something miraculous happens in our spirit: praise comes forth as it should. There is something powerful that happens when we seek God and His will in our lives. In this world we live in we are truly being tested and tried on every side. Things are happening in my life time, that I have not experienced before. I have heard stories from members of my family of the great depression, wars, and poverty that was always present in certain areas of our country. Now I am seeing many things, but we have to be reminded daily of the promises of our Father. Yes, all these things will drive us to Him, just pray and ask Him to be in control of your life and what He wants you to do, then begin to praise Him for all He has done, next be assured the answer is on the way! As you study His word, your heart will be quieted and faith will arise.
