Don't Worry or Fret!

Philippians 4:6 (The Message)

6-7. Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.

I am not sure that I was worrying, but I was "fretting". Why? Well, I am taking courses to be a Christian Counselor so I have been doing lots of studying. I finished my first unit in this course, prayed over it (prayed a lot as I was preparing for it) then sent it in the mail. Just found out today that I had passed with a 98%! Woohooo, I am so thankful! I knew God was leading me in this direction and I knew He would help me, but isn't this just like Him to give me more than I expected! I am telling you it just brings me to tears! He is so good to me! Read the scriptures again and give Him your worries and concerns (maybe a little fretting to). Worrying will never get us anywhere (only gives me a headache). There is wholeness in Christ!
Bless you Sisters and Friends!

I can identify with this post. I find myself fretting every once in a while even though I know I shouldn't. Congratulations on passing the course with "flying colors". I am thrilled for you. Like you I can say He is so good to me that it sometimes brings me to tears.
Blessings to you dear Shirley.
