My Absence from Blogging!
Numbers 6:24-26 (King James Version)
24.The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
25.The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
26.The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
(This passage was used for blessing the bride and groom)
Is everyone busy or is it just me? Oh my! we have had so much going on I thought I better give an account of myself. This is just last week that started off with a cracked tooth that had to be pulled on Tuesday, then we had rehearsal for 50 people on Thursday night, then Friday night was the big night (grandson got married). Saturday we had company for lunch and then of course Sunday is always a big day. So as you can see I haven't accomplished much this week. The wedding was beautiful and they are off on their honeymoon so now maybe things can settle down a bit. Hubby performed the ceremony for the first grandson to get married and that was quite special. I was reminded as I listened to the vows that were made, how many people really take these to heart. How many realize this is a covenant between them and to God. This grandson is a youth minister so I do believe he "knew" what he was saying. I think lots of times people have the idea of "well, if it works that is great, if not, then oh well". So I guess they shouldn't be surprised when it doesn't work out. It is heartbreaking to me for everyone concerned but especially for the children. This grieves my heart so. Some of us will experience marriages in our families and friends for the next few months, so if you would agree with me, let's really do some praying for them. Praying that they would realize how important to know God and His Word and not take this lightly. It is no wonder families are crumbling everywhere. It is time to stand up for the family and declare that God is the only way and the only answer to the problems we all face. I will try to get back on track with my blogging. I do enjoy it so and you are all so gracious to come and visit me. I pray Gods blessings on you this day!
