God is in Control!

Ephesians 1:11,12 (The Message)

It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.

Things have been so hectic and crazy around here, more stress that normal, that I just didn't have time to post. So hopefully I am back on track! I wonder if anyone else out there in blog land is just overwhelmed with all the "stuff" going on? As I started thinking about what to share with you today, I honestly didn't know where to start. I really have not ever seen things in such turmoil as it is now. Not with just a few folks, but everyone we know is dealing with extreme circumstances. We even heard last week of a man that committed suicide, what a tragedy that was. Someone with no hope for the future. I can tell you as for myself, if I take my focus off Jesus, I become fearful to. This is no time for us to be weak in our faith. We must stay strong and keep our eyes on Him. Just watching the news can cause fear! It is a time for us Christians to be standing together and praying for each other. What a blessing to know someone is praying for me and what a privilege to be able to pray for others. So for today,my prayer is that you will be encouraged and remember what the Word of God tells you. Please read the above scripture again, and rejoice in who you are because of Jesus and know that He has a purpose for your life and He really is in control, no matter what it looks like.
Blessings are being sent to You!

just having you for a friend encourages me to stay close to Jesus. You are a great example. Thank you.
