What do you Think?



Romans 8:35-39  (The Message)

So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn't hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn't gladly and freely do for us? And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God's chosen? Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for us—who was raised to life for us!—is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ's love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture:

So, what do you think? Do you believe that God will keep you from losing this battle? If you think you are not in a battle, even the news media will tell you that. Dear friends, we live in serious and dangerous times! Times and events that if you will ask older folks, they will tell you "they have never seen anything like it". So what is going on? Do you think we are living in the last days before Jesus comes? I am sure most will agree this is true.  Do you believe that as this scripture tells us that God will protect us and who would dare touch God's anointed? This is you and me and all who have accepted Jesus as our Savior! As this scripture goes on to say, there is nothing that will separate us from the Love of God! Nothing! If you make the kingdom of God your primary focus, then you can be assured that He will meet our needs. As the gas prices go higher and the unemployment  keeps growing, what will people do if they do not depend on God. I am not a doomsday person, but the ones who do not depend on God will surely face overwhelming problems! We must put our faith in God! I think we have heard that Jesus was sent to die for our sins by His own Father so often, that it is not making an impact. This was the greatest sacrifice ever made and it was made for you and me. We need to get hold of this truth and really understand that everything God did was for us! And by Him doing all that, He is able to keep us! I hope your heart is encouraged today by the truth of God's Word. He will sustain you and lift you up and prosper you! He will make a way when there does not seem to be one. I pray God's richest blessings on you and your family. Stay faithful and see the Glory of God!

here is nothing that will separate us from the Love of God!!! What powerful words these are! I agree with you that we are living in perilous times. We need to have our trust in God. He is faithful. Thank you for your very encouraging post!

It is good to be reminded, particularly in these times, that God shelters and protects the believer. Absolutely nothing can separate us from the love of Almighty God. Thank you for sharing these scriptures and the encouraging words.

So true Shirley, if a person feels that God is not near, it isn't because God left him/her. It is because they momentarily forgot that God's arms are always open and ready for them to come back to Him. Such a comfort to know this.
