Jude 17-22
17But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. 18They said to you, "In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires." 19These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.20But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. 21Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
22Be merciful to those who doubt; 23snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.
More scripture this time than usual, but it is so powerful I wanted to share it with you. It sounds like the times we are living in, doesn’t it? It is hard to watch the news without being troubled. So, I go to these scriptures for strength and guidance. We are told exactly what to do, and how to do it. Please meditate on the Words of God, and let Him minister to you. Be encouraged and know God has a plan for your life, you are being called to do His will. I pray as you read this your hope will be renewed and faith will be increased. God Bless you this Weekend!

Hello Shirley,
The Bible is the road map for our lives and God's love letter to us. Pretty much every answer to every question we may have, is found in that book. I love the scriptures you shared, and I'm so glad you shared them with us. Have a wonderful Sunday and weekend.
Blessings,
Sandi
Your comments about these scriptures are so true. It amazes me how Bible prophecy is coming true. Thank you for sharing this with us on Spiritual Sundays.

All Scripture is inspired of God. The ones you selected for this post are what we need to be thinking about. Thank you for encouraging all of us to meditate on these things.
The end is coming and we must be ready. Thanks for sharing. Happy Spiritual Sunday.
Shirley, I do think we are quite possibly living in the end times. Nearly all of the signs have been fulfilled, and so many theologians and Christians believe it.
I finally got to the point, I turned off the news. My friends are incredulous when I tell them I don't read or listen to the news anymore. My husband watches and reads, but I don't because I can't stand the negative naysayers. I choose the Good News of Christ Jesus, and I am trying hard to dwell on those things that are lovely as the Bible tells us to do.
Even if Jesus tarries, we have so much for which to be thankful and so much work to do, and each day draws us closer to going "home" where we will actually be in His presence. Oh, can you even imagine??? :-)
In the mean time, I love the fact that the Holy Spirit is here to guide and comfort us and grant us the power to do God's will and works on earth.
Love to you on Spiritual Sunday and every day...
XO,
Sheila :-)
I love that line"snatch others from the fire". That is our commission isn't it? Thanks for a great post!
