Be Encouraged!

Psalms 138:8 (New Living Translation)

8. The Lord will work out his plans for my life—
for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever.
Don’t abandon me, for you made me.

Jeremiah 29:11 (New Living Translation)

11. For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Just two of the covenant promises from the Word of God! What a blessed relief and comfort to know that God has a plan for my life and He will see it through to the end. I can't even find the words to tell you what this means to me. Now there are times when I question Him about things, but I know in my heart He has not left me. We will have trials and things happen to us that we don't understand, but this is how we become strong in our faith. We have to believe that all things work together to them that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. Please be encouraged and look to Jesus, just accept His truth and believe Him. I am praying for you as you read this, please pray for me to. Blessings to you and your family!

Thank you Lord!

Psalm 138:1-3 (The Message)

1-3 Thank you! Everything in me says "Thank you!" Angels listen as I sing my thanks.
I kneel in worship facing your holy temple
and say it again: "Thank you!"
Thank you for your love,
thank you for your faithfulness;
Most holy is your name,
most holy is your Word.
The moment I called out, you stepped in;
you made my life large with strength.

I don't know about you, but I never want to be without Jesus Christ in my life! Life is hopeless and void and there is no purpose in anything. With Christ everything is possible! In Him we are victorious! His faithfulness and love to us is forever! Just as this scripture tells us, the very moment we call out to Him, He steps in and gives us the strength we need to sustain us in this life. Thank you God, we can never thank you enough! Please be encouraged my friend, you are not alone in your trials and tribulations, God loves you and there is a purpose for your life! Have a Blessed day in the Lord!

Distressed but Encouraged!

1 Samuel 30:6 (King James Version)

6. And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.

It is such a blessing to have others to encourage us during times of trials and all the pitfalls of this life, but there are times when we have to "encourage" ourselves. Because of Jesus Christ we are encouraged and strengthened "in Him". This is the key, it is in Him we are made conquerors! In Him we are victorious! Does this mean things will always turn out the way that we are praying? No, I don't think so, and Thank God for that! We do not see this whole picture of our life and all the others entwined within it. We can and should pray specifically at times, but there are times when we just pray the will of God! Knowing that He has a plan for our lives. Going on our knees and being renewed from the Lord Himself. Oh don't get me wrong, I am so thankful for everyone that prays for me and it is an honor for me to pray for others, but there are times when I have to "encourage"myself in Christ! I just go to Him praying and reading His Word and claiming those promises from my Father to me. I pray for you today to be strengthened in the trials you are facing. God is real and He is there for you! Blessings sisters!

Glory Around the Corner!

1 Peter 4:12,13 (The Message)

Glory Just Around the Corner

12-13. Friends, when life gets really difficult, don't jump to the conclusion that God isn't on the job. Instead, be glad that you are in the very thick of what Christ experienced. This is a spiritual refining process, with glory just around the corner.

Does life get difficult for you? It sure does at our house, seems like there is always something or someone that just tries my patience and tests my faith. So I began to notice when it bothers me the most! During the most difficult times is when I don't feel very well, other times was just having patience with people, but whatever is going on I just keep remembering that it is no surprise to God! I do believe that when I am doing the best I can do that He hears my prayers and the answer is on the way. I also believe He loves you and me and cares about even the small things that is going on. So please be encouraged and remember glory really is around the corner!

Thoughts for Sunday!

John 14:25-27 (New International Version)

25. "All this I have spoken while still with you. 26.But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27.Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

I wonder if we really realize just how much God loves us! How much love would it take anyway to send your only Son to take the sins of the whole world upon Him? This is just one of many scriptures that remind us of the provisions that have been made. I especially love this one! This "peace" in a world where there is none, but we can still have it. His peace! Then, Thank you Jesus, you said for us to not let our hearts be troubled and to not be afraid! This just blesses me so much! He cares about every part of our life, He certainly knows everything that is going on, and He is there to comfort us and give us strength. I pray you will be encouraged and remember that God loves you very much!
