I was pleasantly surprised to find my favorite scripture was also my devotional for today! I am not sure how many years it has been since this promise to me has been so important. I just know at my lowest times of self doubt and wondering why and for what reason I am here, I have embraced this Word in my heart and hung on for dear life. And I am still hanging on to it, believing every word and every promise. We have to have hope, without it life is senseless and there is no future. We have to believe that God does have plans for us, He does love us and He would never harm us. When we are going through the fire, it is hard to stay focused on the only One who can deliver us, but sweet friend, He will be with us, He will not leave us alone. Please be encouraged by this wonderful scripture and hang on to it and many others you will find in His Word. Accept what has been done for you and then just rest! You will find peace in Him.

Plans of Hope and a Future!
I was pleasantly surprised to find my favorite scripture was also my devotional for today! I am not sure how many years it has been since this promise to me has been so important. What I Feared Most!
Job 3:25 (New Living Translation)
25. What I always feared has happened to me.
What I dreaded has come true.
If my worst fears happen then God will take care of me! If my worst fears happen then God has a plan! If my worst fears happen then God desires to accomplish something amazing in me. If my worst fears happen then God is going to demonstrate His provision to me! We must let God bring us to a place where we trust Him-end of discussion, we don't just trust Him to let us avoid what we fear most! We must trust Him no matter what tragedy or heartbreaks we encounter. No one wants to even thing about these things that can change our lives forever, but we cannot completely avoid it either. We are told over and over in the Bible, do not fear, do not fear, do not fear! If God tells us to "not fear", then it must be possible to not let fear dominate or destroy us. I have never in my lifetime witnessed such fear from people that we know. It is a very serious matter and we must pray and believe what God tells us in His Word. He is faithful and we can trust Him, no matter what happens. I am praying for you and your family, please pray for us to! God bless you sweet friends!
Plans for Me and You!
Jeremiah 29:11 (New International Version)
11. For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
This has to be one of my favorite verses in the Bible! Words are really not adequate to describe what this scripture means to me. I have gone to it so many times, you know, those times when it seems like all hope is gone! Times when it seems like nothing is making sense. Every time I am reminded of how much God loves me, that He does have a plan for my life. When I get this into my very most inner being and really believe that this was meant for me, then I am refreshed, I have hope again and the fear is gone. He said just to seek Him with all of our heart and we would find Him. Be encouraged this Lords Day! Remember what He did for you, and show Him how thankful you are!
