We are Called!

Blessed beyond measure

Romans 8:26-28 (New Living Translation)

26. And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. 27. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. 28. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

What do you do when you have a heavy heart? How do you handle all the impossible looking problems? These were just a few of the questions I had on our way home from visiting some folks. It would be so easy to be discouraged and to wonder how in the world is God going to bring good out of this situation. I am sure we all have situations in which God is working, we just can't see it. So at times like these, it is time to do some praying and spending time in the Word. I know and believe as surely as I am sitting here, God is working and when the time is right we will see the hand of the Lord. Our study in Esther will end in two weeks and it has been a tremendous study. Beth Moore brought out nuggets of truth that showed even though the name of God was not named in the book, His handwriting is all over it. It has been a blessing to learn these truths and a revelation that even when we can't "see", don't think for one minute that your Heavenly Father has not heard you and the plan is already in progress. Please be patient (I am talking to myself to), keep praying, and trust God. He loves us with an unfailing love! I pray blessings on you this week, sweet friends!

Unfailing Love for You!

Isaiah 54:10 (New International Version)

10 Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,"says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

Here is how Webster defines "unfailing", continuous, endless, persistent, unlimited , and continual, (this was just a few mentioned.) This describes Gods love for you and me. It is very important that we let this sink into our very heart and soul. This covenant cannot be broken, no matter what we do. Even when we are unlovable and are not following Him, He still loves us. The Holy Spirit is forever our comforter, our teacher, and guiding us into all truths. Always directing us to the Father! I want to encourage you to study Gods Word and find out for yourself all the promises that are meant for you. But, if we don't know them, we cannot claim them. Just keep this in your heart, God loves you, He sent His Son to die in your place so you could live. You can be victorious no matter the shaking going on around you. Be comforted with the Word of God, and claim what is yours!
